Rekōdo started after twenty-odd years of collecting records, and a lot of time spent digging through crates in Disk Unions across Tokyo.
I wanted to make something that treated a record collection as more than a list of things you own. Because after a while, a collection starts to tell a story. The records you bought, the ones you chased for years, the strange purchases that somehow became favourites. The things you missed along the way.
Rekōdo looks at your collection with that in mind. It finds connections, forgotten records, artists worth digging deeper into, and the records that feel like they might belong in your collection — even if you haven't found them yet.
There are rabbit holes to go down, collector archetypes to discover, and plenty of things you probably didn't know you were looking for.
